Rockport is known as the "birding capital of Texas" and offers plenty of opportunities for birdwatching. The Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is a popular spot to see the endangered whooping crane, along with other bird species. The Rockport-Fulton area also has several birding trails and parks, including the Connie Hagar Cottage Sanctuary. - Explore Rockport Beach
