Rockport's Finest Golf Courses

There is more than just fishing and hitting the beach to do in Rockport.  Enjoy a wonderful day of golf on one of the two beautiful golf courses here in Rockport. The Rockport Country Club has a fantastic golf course  that was designed by Bill Coore.  Jimmy Demaret,  an American professional golfer that won 31 PGA Tour events with a long career between 1935 and 1957, was also involved in the designing of the Rockport Country Club golf course. This 6500 yard golf course has 18 holes and is reminiscent of several of the most popular courses in the world.   Spread out over 65 acres are beautiful grassy knolls, large sand dunes and connecting lakes and ponds make for a relaxing golfing experience.  Enjoy the beautiful coastal live oak trees and an abundance of wildlife, especially deer. The Rockport County Club Golf Course has a Driving Range, Practice Green and a great Pro Shop with all your golfing essentials.  If you would like more information on the golf course check out their website here.  RCC Golf Course You will need to register before playing and they do ask that you limit your game to four hours.  And also keep in mind that this is a metal spike free golf course.  

You can also visit the Live Oak Country Club golf course, built in 1953.  This golf course is a private 9-hole course with beautiful Live Oak trees surrounding the fairways. Giving this great location its name!  Year round golfing here and with a shorter layout here at this facility (2,878 yards).  Perfect for those that choose to walk the course.  There is one par 5 that plays 500 yards and a par 4 that is 335 yards.  More than enough space to his an iron off the tee and miss the beautiful coastal live oak trees.  The Live Oak Country Club has a driving range, rental clubs and even golf cart rentals.
