The Anchor House is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with a private fishing pier. Come stay at The Anchor House for fabulous fishing and incredible water views. This beautiful home is situated on 3 acres along Copano Bay just off FM 1781. The Anchor House offers beautiful sunsets, great fishing, and peaceful surroundings. Catch redfish, trout, flounder, black drum, sheepshead, and blue crabs from the private, lighted 200 ft fishing pier. The private fishing pier has a 30 ft by 10 ft t-head and a 1000 watt above water green light perfect for fishing the night away.
Old Captain Dave says a reef runs in front of the pier for fantastic fishing. You can also wade fish or kayak. There is also a fish cleaning stand with power and water for you to clean your stringer of fish. Meander down the path to the bay and cool off under the 12 ft x 20 ft covered cabana at the entrance of the pier. There are even some cool looking chairs guest will enjoy taking pictures in! Your dogs are sure to have a great time too (2 dogs maximum).
Anchor House is built next to the Original Captain Dave's home! This single-story home has a great deck with a 180° view of Copano Bay. Enjoy dipping in the pool on the back deck, swinging in the hammock, or the satellite TVs inside when you are not fishing. The primary bedroom offers a comfy king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. This home will sleep up to 8 people. The fully equipped kitchen has all new appliances and everything you will need to make a fantastic dinner for all.Where you'll sleep

Bring extra pots, pans, olive oil because they don’t have all of that like it says it does. Very small pots. Maybe extra blankets if they don’t replace those gross comforters and some disinfectant spray. I loved the home I just wish it was cleaner and better taken care of. Also, the green light did not work as advertised.

The house is a good size, the couch sleeper was a struggle but good for kids to sleep on, the pool is very shallow and more suited for little kids, the pier does not have a green light.

Place was really cute and clean. We liked being able to bring our dogs and there was plenty of room for them to run around. The fishing deck was nice. The pool is more for taking a quick dip when it gets too hot while fishing. Wasn’t very big or deep, but thankful it was there. Only complaints was the master bedroom bed was hard but no big deal. Overall we had a great stay.
