The Double-crested Cormorant is one of many large water birds that you can view from the back of this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. Situated on the T of a canal that leads out to Salt Lake and then Copano Bay, this home is perfect for kayakers, boaters, or for just fishing from the dock. A private boat ramp is on the property and there is room to tie up your boat behind the house. The large deck offers beautiful water views, cool breezes, and fishing in the canal with the underwater green light.
Inside Cormorant Crossing, you will find bamboo floors and tile counter tops. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all look out over the water through large windows that run along the back of the house. Galley style kitchen that is fully equipped for cooking and dining. The living room has comfortable seating and satellite tv.
The primary bedroom has a queen size bed, a private bathroom, and satellite tv. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and a twin day bed. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. The beds sleep 7, but you can bring 1 more person along to sleep on the couch.
Cormorant Crossing is a pet friendly home with a large fenced yard. Please remember to bring a kennel for your pet while you are away from the home. Bird watchers will love the variety of birds and ducks that live around the canals. Relax on the large covered patio and take in the cool breeze and beautiful views. At sunset, the underwater green light comes on for fishing in the canal. You can catch trout, redfish, sheepshead, drum, blue crabs, and more from the fishing deck. It is easy to launch a boat or kayak from the back yard for more water and fishing fun!

We would recommend it, especially to dog owners. The house is nicely furnished. It’s great having a fenced backyard and the fishing there is great. The only downside to it right now is the major construction project next door.

There were not enough slats in the queen bed in the guest room and the mattress was falling through so we had to sleep apart. The bed in the master was hard and not comfortable at all. The shower curtain in the main bathroom had mold/mildew all over it. The other guest room with 2 twin beds there were no place to hang clothes at all. There were also no hangars in any of the rooms. In the picture online there was a big chair with an ottoman. This was not in the living room at all. The photos online are not accurate with what is actually shown.

There’s construction next door and they’re very loud. They always park in the driveway and it’s so annoying having to tell them to move all the times.
